The field of education is broadly conceived and is focused on the economy and business activities of a company. During the preparation, students will learn to carry out activities related to securing basic business activities, to effectively manage financial resources and to carry out business activities, i.e. to secure the main business of a company both with material and human resources, to process related documents, to manage administration, to orientate themselves on financial market, compile price calculations, navigate the tax system of the Czech Republic, calculate mandatory levies, account, use marketing tools, prepare typical business documents in a standardized format. Additional knowledge and skills that students acquire during their preparation are based on the focus of the field.

Profile of a graduate of the field of Economics and Business
Focus: Entrepreneurship (4-year full-time and 5-year distance learning)
A graduate of the field of Economics and Business focused on Entrepreneurship will establish himself especially in the group of professions focused on the performance of economic, commercial, entrepreneurial and administrative activities in enterprises of all legal forms, both in the state and in the private sphere. For example, as a financial officer, sales and marketing officer, accountant’s assistant, tax advisor’s assistant, entrepreneur’s assistant, administrative worker, sales representative, etc.
After passing the matriculation exam, the graduate is also ready to enter one of the forms of tertiary education, in particular to study at the economics and law faculties of universities and to study at higher professional schools focused on economics, business, finance and public administration.
The graduate also has the prerequisites to develop their own entrepreneurial activities.
Focus: Sports Management (4-year full-time study only)
A graduate of the field of Economics and Business with a specialization in Sports Management will be able be employed employed on the labor market primarily as a manager in the field of sports. However, it is also applicable in areas outside of sports, i.e. also as a financial officer, business and marketing officer, accountant’s assistant, tax advisor’s assistant, entrepreneur’s assistant, administrative worker, sales representative, etc.
After passing the matriculation exam, the graduate is also ready to start one of the forms of tertiary education, in particular to study at economic and law faculties of universities, at schools focused on sports management or at higher professional schools focused on sports or economics, business, finance and public administration.
The graduate also has the prerequisites to develop their own entrepreneurial activities.
